Friday 15th:

Kele – AKA Kele Okereke lead singer and guitarist from Bloc Party.  This British musician put out his first solo album “The Boxer” in 2010 after Bloc Party took a break in late 2009.  Just stumbled into a few great tracks this week.  7pm 50 minute set.

The Black Keys:  They will flat out rock your face off, and their new single kills it every time.  They pulled 3 Grammys for a reason.  Main Stage 9:55 pm

Skrillex:  At 17, Sonny Moore played in his in a  punk band, now at 23 he has jumped to making his own music.  He has become the darling of Dubstep!  He just got on with Deadmau5, which was the Sarahas Tent top Draw 2010.  He's Early Friday 3:30 pm.

Skrillex Response to Haters...  This Same response goes to Every negative ass punk "amature critic" that sits at home talking smack, doing nothing with their life.  This video alone shows he is just a regular guy.   Like him or Hate him, he is making music and gaining fans.  For that, jealous critics can kick rocks.

Never did such an energetic local band have a smaller impact on the San Diego music scene. That band, Dapper Dans, has some balls appearing in a one-off “reunion show” of epic proportions, but it’s going down Friday at the Til-Two Club (formerly The Beauty Bar).

Familiar to those who frequented small to medium clubs around town in the mid-to-late 2000s, this lovable rock/power pop trio will bang out plenty of recognizable cover tunes and many of its catchy originals (“White Chocolate” is a can’t-miss ditty). Lead singer/guitarist Trevor Forssell, bassist Bryan Stevens and drummer Matteo Ortiz will help you forget your taxman blues and boogie down into the night.

Telefunk is opening and Ortiz’s new band, Canyon Sets, will finish the night atop this enjoyable bill.

Have you tried the good eats of local San Diego Gourmet Food Trucks yet?

I recently stumbled across a gathering of the 12 San Diego food trucks, at 57 Degrees Wine Bar.  We tried some gourmet sliders, stir fry and decedent fry’s, which were restaurant quality and will keep you coming back for more.  With the variety of food, everyone will find something they like from Steak to Sweets.

We talked with 57 Degrees Wine Bar and hear this is going to become a regular event.  On the 3rd Friday of each month 57 Degrees will open up their parking lot behind the venue, so you can eat away.  It’s a unique space, at a venue and ideal for this event.

It’s a perfect way to sample the new trucks or take your first jump into the scene, and gives you a chance to pick a favorite.   It's $2 to get in and you can use the ticket for $2 off wine/beer that is $10+.  Glasses were starting at $4-5 dollars or you can go by the bottle.  They also had a live band playing last time.  Good place for a date or after work happy hour.

About 57 Degrees Wine Bar.  They are a full service wine bar, wine storage and retail wine store.  My buddies keep all of their 1997 two buck chuck chilled at a perfect 57 degrees.

Get there early because the popular trucks can run out of items, since they have limited capacity.  Cohn Restaurants has a few trucks at the event. Other news. The owner of  Hamilton’s Tavern started a food truck also.  They have it parked in front of Eleven Bar, their sister Bar on El Cajon.   Jack and the Box?  Yes, they jumped on the trend with their food truck too.  Not sure if their angle is “Fast food” or not?  Just launched March 25^th.
