Morning After Mess Cleanup Day Next Monday!
Independence Day is typically the busiest beach days of the year so Surfrider teams up with other local groups to organize the Morning After Mess Cleanup Day. We will be at five locations on July 5th from 8-11am: Ocean Beach Pier, Mission Beach/Belmont Park, Pacific Beach/Sail Bay (end of Fanuel St.), South Carlsbad State Beach/Ponto, Oceanside Harbor Jetty. 

50 participants at each location will receive an organic cotton T-shirt! All volunteers collecting trash will be eligible for gift packs that will be raffled off at the event. Raffle gift pack prizes will be provided by Billabong, Lost, O'Neill, Volcom, and Quiksilver. Concert tickets for the raffle will be provided by 91X and Live Nation. Surfrider Foundation encourages volunteers to bring buckets and garden gloves if possible but we will provide all necessary equipment if you need it, including gloves, trash bags, grabbers and hand sanitizer. All volunteers need to sign a liability waiver and people under 18 years old need a parent's or guardian's signature to participate.
